The project involves the complete renovation of three floors—the fourth, fifth, and sixth—of the building located at Corso Italia 15, in the historic building designed by architect Luigi Moretti between 1951 and 1956. This building is protected by the Superintendency of Archaeology, Fine Arts, and Landscape for its architectural and historical value.
This building complex, one of the most iconic of the post-war period in Milan, stood out from the beginning for its modern and innovative architecture within the urban context of Milan. The four buildings that compose it, characterized by a unified image but with different heights and volumes, forms and orientations, develop around an urban block delimited by the streets Rugabella, San Senatore, Sant’Eufemia and Corso Italia.
The goal is to create residential units characterized by a careful choice of materials and equipped with advanced technology systems, pursuing an environmental sustainability vision of the intervention.
